I was in a forum yesterday (which will remain nameless) reading responses to people wanting more hCG info stating that the hCG Diet is a scam. And, of course, they ALL cite the ONE page on the web that appears to prove their case.
HOWEVER, they obviously DIDN’T READ IT, because the very page they cite claiming the hCG Diet is a scam references a study showing that hCG DOES WORK for weight loss!!!
Don’t believe me? OK – here are the facts:
Everyone making the case AGAINST the hCG Diet cites this page:

Upon CURSORY inspection, it APPEARS to be proof the hCG weight loss diet doesn’t work, right?
WRONG!
Scroll to the bottom where it says ‘References’:
The first reference listed (#1) has no link.
The 2nd reference listed (#2) is a double-blind study by Asher & Harper. READ IT YOURSELF, especially the SUMMARY PARAGRAPH at the end!
So you don’t want to read it yourself? OK, here’s pertinent part in the Summary Paragraph in all its glory:
“Summary
…The HCG group lost significantly more mean weight, had a significantly greater mean weight loss per injection, and lost a significantly greater mean percentage of their starting weight. The percentage of affirmative daily patient responses indicating “little or no hunger” and “feeling good to excellent” was significantly greater in the HCG group than the placebo group. Additional investigation of the influence of HCG on weight loss, hunger, and well-being seems indicated.”
So, the very website EVERYONE cites to prove the hCG diet doesn’t work lists as it’s first hyperlinked reference a double-blind study that says hCG DOES WORK!
And guess what? The other studies cited DIDN’T FOLLOW THE ORIGINAL DR. SIMEONS’ PROTOCOL!!!
Can we stop spreading misinformation about the hCG Diet now?? PLEASE??
